He's been doing his training, and the management decided that we could just take that precaution of not putting him into that first day. I think everything, the way he batted in the second innings, was again flawless, and he's very much ready for the Test match," the Indian coach said.
Bahutule further noted that Shubman is among the cricketers who take the preparations very seriously. Because of the seriousness of the batter, the coach called him a meticulous boy.

In the second innings, the Indian cricket team showcased more attacking batting in comparison to their first innings performance. The attacking batting approach proved effective in the warm-up match as there were multiple players in the playing combination who had the hands to launch the ball to the boundary.
