Madeline Webb from Brentwood, Tennessee has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at Florida State beginning in fall 2027.

Webb swims for Excel Aquatics and finished her long course season at Summer Juniors. There she swam to lifetime bests in both the 50 (33.32) and 100 (1:12.64) breaststrokes.
Her strong summer was a continuation of her momentum from the short course season where she swam to a lifetime best in March with a 1:03.01. She also swam to a best time in the 50 free with a 23.27.
Webb enters her senior season this fall at Brentwood High School. Back in February, she was 4th in the 100 free (50.84) and 5th in the 200 IM (2:03.55) at the TISCA State Championship.
Webb’s Best SCY Times Are:
100 breast: 1:03.01 50 free: 23.27 100 free: 50.84The Florida State women finished 10th out of 15 teams at the 2026 ACC Championships with 371 points. The team went on to finish 31st at the 2026 NCAA Championships. Diver Kayleigh Clark led the team at NCAAs with a 3rd place finish in the platform event.
Based on her best times, Webb would have been 5th in the 100 breast, t-6th in the 50 free, and 9th in the 100 free on the team this past season. It took a 1:02.20 in the 100 breast, 22.56 in the 50 free, and a 48.91 in the 100 free to earn a second swim at ACCs.
Webb will arrive in fall 2027 as a member of the class of 2031 along with Grayson Brewster, Leah Chin, and Aidyn Reese.
