ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Bonadio Group, which is a nationally ranked public accounting and consulting firm in Rochester, closed as part of the firm’s ninth annual Purpose Day on Friday.
Purpose Day is the firm’s day of service that aims to reflect on The Bonadio Group’s impact on the community. Activities included landscaping and gardening, painting and maintenance projects, indoor clean-up, meal preparation and food distribution, organizing donated items, and interacting with people at assisted living and community organizations.
Over 1,100 employees volunteered with over 50 nonprofit organizations in the region for Purpose Day.
In the Rochester area, businesses that the group volunteered service at include Miss Julie’s School of Beauty, Big Brothers Big Sisters, White Haven Memorial Parks, Charles Settlement House affiliated with Community Place of Greater Rochester, Community Place of Greater Rochester, Friendship Children’s Center, Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester, Habitat for Humanity, Farmington Safe Haven (Eagle Star Housing), The Center for Youth, Renaissance Academy Charter School, Ronald McDonald House, Foodlink Farm, Holy Childhood, Lifetime Assistance, St. Ann’s Community, Veterans Outreach Center, Heritage Christian Services, St. John’s, St. Joseph’s Neighborhood, and The Friendly Home.
The group volunteered at a total of 26 Rochester nonprofits.
