FAIRPORT, N.Y. — A new indoor recreation facility focused on dodgeball opened at Perinton Square Mall.
Leaders cut the ribbon for Fairport Dodgeball Friday. The facility will offer dodgeball leagues, open play, parties and events.
It features artificial turf with padding designed to provide a comfortable playing surface. Owner Andrew DeSouza said he has more planned for the space beyond dodgeball.
“I plan on offering soccer training as well, that’s why I put artificial turf in. I wanted it to be a fun place to come and play and make it dodgeball focused, with many other options as well,” DeSouza said.
