Shueisha Launches 100th-Anniversary MANGA MILLION Project With 400 Titles, Including ‘ONE PIECE’ Free in Over 100 Languages

Shueisha launched its MANGA MILLION project on Aug. 6, a global digital service commemorating the company’s 100th anniversary. The platform features roughly 400 manga titles translated into more than 100 languages, offering a combined one million pages free of charge to readers worldwide for a limited time. Availability within Japan will be limited to select content.

The service requires no registration and is slated to run through the end of December 2027. The lineup includes shonen and seinen titles such as ONE PIECE — translated into 107 languages — along with NARUTO, BLEACH, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kingdom, OSHI NO KO, SPYxFAMILY, and Chainsaw Man, as well as more than 150 shojo and josei titles including NANA and Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You. All translations are handled by professional translators, with roughly 300 titles receiving their first-ever English translations. The service will offer over 100 languages, including Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Korean.

Starting in mid-August, the service will also roll out “near-simulcast” distribution for about 30 ongoing series, delivering the latest chapters roughly two to three weeks after their Japanese release. ONE PIECE is set to be offered in 96 languages under this initiative.

Because the service is designed for overseas audiences, availability in Japan will be limited to select content — including ONE PIECE volumes 1–12 (the “East Blue” arc) in all 107 languages, as well as English-language interview features with the author and publishers from various countries.
