HOPEWELL, N.Y. — A 19-year-old suffered a serious head injury after Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say he got into a single-car crash Thursday.
Deputies say it happened at the intersection of State Route 488 and County Road 47 in the Town of Hopewell. They say the 19-year-old didn’t stay in his lane and crashed.
The man had a serious but non-life threatening head injury, and was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital. He was cited for aggravated unlicensed operation along with several other traffic citations.
