A fun nugget from Courtney Cronin’s Bears camp notes at ESPN from Wednesday: “The highlight of the morning came during a 7-on-7 period when Caleb Williams completed 9 of 10 attempts. Wide receiver Kaden Davis was on the receiving end of the best catch of the day, a one-handed sliding grab in the corner of the end zone from Williams.” I love seeing unexpected names make waves with the first-team offense. For those who are unfamiliar, Kaden Davis was one of the UFL standouts the Bears signed in June after the spring football league’s season ended. I’m not sure he has great odds of making the roster, but I have a gut feeling that he will be a popular player during the preseason.
