PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The sunshine has returned for day five of Buffalo Bills Training Camp. Tuesday marks the second day that players will be in full pads at the camp at St. John Fisher University.
Practice starts at 8:30 a.m. each day. After Tuesday, there are only two more practices left at Fisher: Thursday, Aug. 6 and Friday, Aug. 7. There will also be a scrimmage game, the Blue & Red practice, at the new Highmark Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8.
On Monday, players practiced in full pads in the rain, and Bills Mafia got to see Josh Allen practice some throws and rushes. This marks the Bills’ 25th year of training at Fisher. People who got tickets through the lottery system have already been notified by email. If you weren’t selected for tickets, you can follow News10NBC coverage of the camp every day for the latest on how the Bills are getting ready for their season opener.

Don’t expect to park at Fisher. The only public parking listed on the Bills’ website is at Nazareth University, where people can take a shuttle to training camp for $1. The shuttle service will start at 7:15 a.m. each day, and the end time varies from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Doors to the camp open at 7:30 a.m.
There will also be lawn parking near the campus. James Gaze lives on East Avenue, a few blocks from Fisher, and offers paid parking on his lawn every year. News10NBC spoke with Gaze, who teams up with his neighbor to provide parking and together can fit more than 60 cars on their lawns. He started doing this seven or eight years ago, charging $5 a spot. Now it’ll cost you $20.
What you can bring
Everyone entering the camp must go through a security screening. Fans can bring a clear bag smaller than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches. They can also bring a one-gallon plastic freezer bag and a small clutch bag about the size of a hand (4.5 inches x 6.5 inches). However, bags larger than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches, regardless of whether it’s clear, won’t be allowed into training camp.
Other prohibited items include alcoholic beverages, coolers, thermoses, jugs or other empty liquid containers, cameras with lenses longer than six inches, drones, video cameras, and recording devices.
CPR demonstrations
The American Heart Association will be at Bills training camp each day to teach fans hands-only CPR. Fans can learn lifesaving skills through UR Medicine’s mobile CPR kiosk, a touch screen device with instructions that can give feedback.
News10NBC has checked out the mobile CPR kiosk several times, including during previous Bills training camps. Bills safety Damar Hamlin has challenged people to learn CPR ever since trainers saved his life after he went into cardiac arrest during a game in January of 2023.
Other activities
There will be a running back challenge at the camp, where fans can practice their spin moves, race to the end zone, and dive over the pylon. There will also be a QB challenge, testing your ability to make a split-second decision of who gets the ball to score the touchdown. You can see the full schedule here.
