"Sopranos" actor Vincent Pastore, who died on Saturday, Aug. 1, at the age of 80, was found in his New York City home at 2:20 PM ET. Police and emergency services arrived at his home, with TMZ reporting that paramedics did everything they could to save him, but "no amount of treatment could bring him back." He was pronounced dead 22 minutes after they arrived.
The outlet added that Pastore "died of natural causes, and police never suspected a drug overdose." His body was taken to a funeral home in Westchester County, New York, with a representative for the NYC Medical Examiner's office telling TMZ that an autopsy will not be performed.
Just weeks ahead of his death, Pastore celebrated his 80th birthday with friends.

His death came as a shock to many, with his longtime friend Stephen Villano detailing this to The New York Post.
"He was totally healthy. He was fine. He just went for his yearly physical,” Villano said. “He was a good man. I will miss him a lot.”
Along with Villano, many members of The Sopranos Cast paid tribute.
"A wonderful actor, a kind and loving man. It was an honor to know you and work with you," Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who played Meadow Soprano, wrote.
"“Our beloved friend and collaborator VINCENT PASTORE has passed away. This is a hard one for us, it seems like I’ve known Vinny forever. We did lots of work together and traveled all over the USA as well as Italy and Australia. Lots of good times. Lots of laughs. Vinny was a kind-hearted brother who cared deeply about his family and friends. I will miss him always," Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher Moltisanti, posted on Instagram.
"“God bless him. He made it to 80. Vin and I were never actually on set together, but through our Sopranos family I got to know him over the years. I always liked him. He had this incredible appetite for the business and he never lost that spark. That always made me smile. My heart goes out to his family, his friends and everyone who loved him. Rest easy, Vin," oe Pantoliano, who played Ralph Cifaretto, shared on Instagram.
