ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The show starts with a talk with the new Brick Rochester Academy principal, then a chat with the president of Rochester Black Arts Council, along with an artist. After that, it’s an interview with the president of the Golisano Institute for Business, along with a graduate from the institute. The last interview is with the founder and CEO of “Let’s Get Lit.”
Lynette spoke with Yarritza Delgado, the new principal of Brick Rochester Academy. Delgado shared her vision for students, the school and the surrounding neighborhood.
The Rochester Black Arts Council is working to bring the community together through art and entertainment. Lynette interviewed Dominique El Bey, president of the council, and artist Aaron Calvin about an upcoming event at Artisan Works this weekend.
News10NBC previously visited the Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship to explore what’s happening at one of Rochester’s newest alternatives in higher education. In the recent interview, Lynette sat down with Dr. Ian Mortimer, the president, and Ben Bastian, a recent graduate, to learn more about the alternative path in education.
Lynette also spoke one-on-one with Clianda Florence, founder and CEO of the nonprofit “Let’s Get Lit.” Florence discussed the potential role of AI in literacy education. Florence also talked about the concerning theory and practice of AI in education, including a need for change in the education system.
