HOWLAND — Carol Jeanette Molnar, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Carol was born Dec. 25, 1947, in Warren, a daughter of the late George and Helen Sinea Molnar.
Carol was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Carol enjoyed a successful career in the jewelry industry in Florida and New York before eventually retiring from Marsala Manufacturing in Columbus, Ohio, in 2013. Outside of work, she found happiness in gardening, cooking for loved ones, getting lost in a good book and spending precious time with the friends and family that she loved.
Her Russian Orthodox faith was an important part of her life. She embodied kindness, generosity and quiet faithfulness, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Carol was the heart of her family — a woman whose warmth, laughter and love brought people together. She had an incredible sense of style and was always impeccably dressed, carrying herself with grace and confidence. Her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile could brighten any room.
As the eldest of six children, she will be sadly missed by her siblings who will cherish her memory, Michael (Lisa) Molnar of North Bloomfield, Mark (Lorrie) Molnar of Champion, Susan Roby of Gates Mills, Judy (Charlie Dobson) Molnar of Markleeville, California, and Matthew (Shelly) Molnar of Orwell.
Preceding her in death was her brother-in-law, Gary Roby of Gates Mills.
Carol relished her role as the most fun and fabulous aunt to many. To those who were fortunate to call her auntie, she was far more than just an aunt. She was a trusted confidante with a contagious laugh, a source of encouragement and strength and a second mother to many. Carol leaves behind eight nieces and one nephew who will be forever grateful and feel very blessed for having her in their lives, Nathan Roby, Carly Escano, Melissa Baker, Lindsay Molnar, Kerstin Baker, Andrea Frendscho, Erica Frank, Veronica Maestas and Kelly Maestas.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road, Warren, OH 44483, where a service will follow at 6 p.m.
Burial will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, in Pineview Memorial Park.
