Fall 2 has dropped its first-look trailer – and the highly anticipated sequel already looks like deadly fun.
The upcoming survival thriller, starring Outlander’s Harriet Slater, Queen Charlotte’s Arsema Thomas and Grantchester’s Tom Brittney, will follow two women as they head to Thailand to complete one of its most dangerous treks.
Jax (Slater) goes on the mission to complete the trail after discovering her late sister’s bucket list, and recruits her sister’s best friend Luce (Thomas) to complete it with her.
On the list is the "plank walk of Mount Kwan" – an infamous rickety bridge that is said to be the most deadly in the world, dangling 11,000ft in the air.
Despite its lethal reputation, Jax and Luce go off on the adventure anyway, but run into trouble when a landslide leaves them stranded on the platform.
Now, in a bid to make it out alive, their once-in-a-lifetime trip becomes a desperate fight for survival, with the way down including a series of metal bars on a cliff edge – and they have no safety net from the lethal drop if they slip.
First-look photos see the women taking on the bridge, which is precariously made with rope, wood and missing slats – which alone looks terrifying, never mind the killer drop below.
Another shows Jax sitting down on a small step on the cliff edge, while Luce tries use a series of distant metal poles drilled into the cliff as steps to get further down the mountainside.
The trailer, which was also released by Signature Entertainment today, sees the pair in peril before they even make it to the plank walk, with their navigator (Brittney) warning them of what lies ahead.

Regardless, they carry on ahead. But with rusty screws coming loose on the planks with every step, it doesn't take long for disaster to strike, and it looks like Brittney's character becomes a casualty during the landslide, leaving the girls to fend for themselves.
The only tip they have? Don't look down.
Fall 2 ups the scale of the original Fall movie, which was released in 2022 and followed two girls as they scaled an abandoned radio tower – only for the ladder to give up underneath them once they're 2000ft up, leaving them stranded.
The trailer hints that Jax is connected to the girls in the first film, tying the franchise together.
Fall 2 is available in cinemas from 9 September.
