The feud between Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) and Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield) has rumbled on in Coronation Street, with devastating consequences for one local.
It comes after she exposed him as a paedophile who paid her for sex as a teenager. Appalled by the fact their son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) didn't know the truth, she blew the secret during Ross's birthday party.
The aftermath saw Cassie in tears, Ross's new romance Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) appalled, and Tyrone conflicted by his dad's claims that he thought she was older.
Ultimately, Ty' decided to give his dad another chance - on the understanding that Cassie was ok with this. She grindingly accepted an apology for her son's sake, and later, the story took a far more sinister turn.
Ross pinned her against the wall and said that if she was to try and cause anymore upheaval, he'd kill her.
In today's episode, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) was prepping a smoothie in the Barlow kitchen and offered some drinks around the room.
Cassie was furious to learn that Ross had stayed the night at No. 1 and that Tracy had forgiven him, though her curiosity was piqued when she discovered it was his first day at Highfield Prison - and that he'd have to undergo a drugs test.

When the house was empty, she mixed a number of Tyrone's painkillers into Ross's drink and rushed out through the back door. Ross heard a bit of commotion and peered out of the window, spotting Cassie doing a runner.
He was thoroughly confused, but upon finding the empty pill packet on the floor, quickly realised what she'd done.
Instead he offered Tracy the smoothie, saying that she seemed unwell and that it would perk her up. When Amy returned home, she found her mother unconscious on the sofa.
She slumped onto the floor and an ambulance was quickly called.
Steve and Cassie were stunned to see Tracy being blue-lighted to Weathy General. She attempted to mask her unease, but Ross clearly knows what she did.
Will he expose her crime?
