Kelsey Grammer has some pretty strong opinions, and the outspoken conservative is not afraid to share them with the world. TheFrasier actor recently appeared on Katie Miller’s podcast, revealing what he really thinks about the education system, vaccinations, and more.
Like Grammer, Katie Miller, a podcast host and wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller, is a well-known conservative celeb. During her recent sit-down with the actor, she pressed him on everything from woke Hollywood to healthcare. And Grammer’s answers may shock some of his former Frasier fans.
To say Grammer isn’t in love with America’s educational system is an understatement. The actor told Miller, “I think the educational community has really dropped the ball. Probably deliberately in a lot of ways, but because they don’t like the idea that we are a great country. That something in our education system decided to think that we aren’t, and to teach our children that.”
Grammar continued, “And of course, if you’re learning that from your teachers…we believe our teachers. We do. And if they say things like you come from a crap country, well you know, you start to think, ‘Well, maybe they’re right.’”
The actor also shared some pretty jaw-dropping thoughts on this system: “So you end up searching your soul for why you’re not a good person, why you aren’t good anymore, why our country isn't good. So that means mom and dad aren't very good either? And there’s a whole series of questions that come into it that are, it’s basically child abuse—what we’re doing to our children.”
Kelsey Grammer On MAHA, Robert Kennedy Jr., and Vaccination
You can’t talk MAHA without mentioning U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and as it turns out, Grammer is (and has been) a fan: “I knew Bobby for years. I had great, great admiration for him and sort of dropping his campaign and saying like I’m hooking up with this guy ‘cuz we got to do some of this stuff. This has to happen now. And I’m really behind that. I’m for him 100%. ”
Kelsey went on to speak candidly about his stance on vaccination and his own children: “Been an antivaxer for quite a while. I don't want to talk about it too much…with my kids, but you know there were some issues with vaccination and we’re out the other end. Okay. But we’re definitely MAHA. We really are for it.”
Miller and Grammer’s convo went far beyond education, MAHA, and vaccines. The pair also touched on The Odyssey, AI, wokeness in Hollywood, parenting, Japanese milk bread, and some of Grammer’s other conservative views. To view the full interview, watch Miller’s podcast here.
