Apple TV’s hit sci-fi show Severance started production on Season 3, and director/executive producer Ben Stiller just dropped a not-so-cryptic hint.
Earlier this week, Stiller posted a still on X of the Season 2 finale, featuring Mark and Helly racing through Lumon’s never-ending corridors bathed in an eerie red light, along with a quote from none other than the fictional company’s (also fictional) founder, Kier Eagan: “To return to work is to return home.”
As fans know, a nearly three-year gap separated Seasons 1 and 2, leading to speculation that we would all have to wait yet another three years for Season 3. The Season 2 finale, ‘Cold Harbor,’ aired on March 21, 2025, leaving viewers wondering whether they would need to wait until the spring of 2028 to find out what happens next.

When will ‘Severance’ Season 3 air on Apple TV?
Even though it looks like production is underway, Apple TV has yet to give a premiere date for Season 3. Given that it could take anywhere from months to well over a year to film and edit the show, Severance isn't likely to stream anytime soon.
