GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) Members of 805 Patriots are defending their right to wave political and patriotic flags from their cars.
They said a Goleta business asked them to leave a weekend car show in its parking lot.
They returned to "M Special Brewing Company "in Goleta on Monday to have some beer on the patio.
They shared TikTok video of interaction with an employee on Sunday.
A former United States Marine said he had parked his 1969 Chevy Nova with a Trump flag and an American flag on the sides.
He said a Sheriff's Deputy was called and told him he would be trespassing if he stayed in the parking lot during the car show.
"The fact that I can't fly the American flag with President Trump, our current president, it felt so surreal, I am still in shock," said Jorge Cortez.
Another woman holding a toddler said she got a small American Flag at the M Special on State Street in Santa Barbara during World Cup.
She said when her daughter was holding the small flag inside the Goleta M Special recently she was told her daughter couldn't wave the flag inside.
M's Special has not responded to requests to comment.
