Netflix has announced a brand new live darts event that pits everyday players against world number one, Luke Littler.
In what has been described as a "groundbreaking" and "high stakes" competition, Beat Luke Littler will see 20 ambitious amateurs from across the nation step up to the oche, where they will face off against Littler in a bid to win £501,000.
The rules are simple: one night, one chance and one perfect leg of 501. If an amateur can defeat the 19-year-old, they will walk away with the life-changing cash prize.
To kick off the launch, Netflix has officially opened a nationwide recruitment search to find the 20 competitors brave enough to take on the challenge.
Open regional heats will be held in Manchester and London this September to find the final 20 players who will earn a spot in the live broadcast.

The live event is produced in partnership with the PDC, the governing body behind professional darts, and will be rooted in the authentic world of competitive darts, bringing the sport's electric atmosphere live on Netflix.
The campaign is led by a video message from Littler himself, as he lays down the gauntlet to the public: "Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let's go!"
Littler rose to fame in 2024 and has gone on to win two PDC World Championships, in 2025 and 2026, and is the youngest world champion in darts history. He has won 13 PDC major singles titles - ranked third all-time - and a total of 28 PDC titles.
He is currently ranked world number one in Professional Darts Corporation events.
