ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Canadian man charged with a 1992 murder is expected in court on Monday.

More than 33 years ago, Victoria Jobson was found dead in a field off Lyell Avenue in Rochester. She was naked and stabbed multiple times.
Police say Roy Green killed her and took off to an Indian reservation in Canada. He was arrested in 2024.
Back in January, News10NBC heard from the sergeant who found Jobson and from her family.
“This has been a long time waiting for this family, and now he’s been indicted and the wheel of justice will move forward,” said Mark Mariano, a retired Rochester police sergeant. “It’s like a recurring nightmare. It’s like putting a Band-Aid on a wound and ripping it off every few years for 32 years,” Keisha Washington said, who’s the daughter of Jobson.
Another man is also charged with Jobson’s murder. Green has pleaded not guilty.
