Arkansas is making a significant change to Razorback Stadium this fall.
On Friday, Arkansas announced plans to install LED lights for the first time ahead of the 2026 season. Per a press release, the new lighting system “will create multiple custom logo projections, lasers, effects and show programming.”

“We’re excited to add these new LED lights along with a laser system to our gameday atmosphere and experience inside Razorback Stadium,” athletic director Hunter Yurachek said in a statement. “Adding these elements along with a few more elements will enhance our gameday experience for our fans while creating a hostile environment to help our team win. We can’t wait to see it all in action this fall.”
Arkansas is entering a new era on the gridiron as well with Ryan Silverfield taking over the program as head coach. Silverfield arrives in Fayetteville after a successful stint at Memphis.
Arkansas will be hoping to get back to bowl eligibility in 2026 after missing out on the postseason last winter. The Razorbacks fired Sam Pittman after a 2-3 start and then went 0-7 with Bobby Petrino as interim coach in 2025.
Arkansas will host North Alabama in Week 1 to kick off the 2026 season.
