ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Neighborhood of the Arts Business Association (NOTABA) is hosting a summer social next month.
The neighborhood-wide celebration will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8. Over 25 businesses in the area will offer deals, giveaways, special activities, and more. There will be various activities happening throughout the day at Three Heads Brewing from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
From 11 am. – 4 p.m., people will be able to browse through a market of local artists, makers, and small businesses around the block and inside the courtyard of the Factory Building.
Neighborhood cleanup
Starting at 9 a.m., NOTABA will be teaming up with Walking For Rochester for a mini cleanup around the Neighborhood of the Arts. People can show up to Three Heads Brewing at 9 a.m., grab some equipment, and help clean up the surrounding streets.
Bagel Brunch
The Neighborhood of the Arts Neighborhood Association will be hosting a bagel brunch starting at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at Merriman Park Playground. Free bagels and coffee will be provided by the Bagel Shop by Fox’s. There will be free bagels until 2 p.m., or until they run out.
Three Heads Brewing
Organizers say the main hub for the summer social will be at Three Heads Brewing. Over ten businesses will be tabling, and people can learn about local resources and businesses. There will also be activities and giveaways throughout the day.
Around the neighborhood
Organizations that day will have signs in their windows so people can know where deals and events are taking place. People will get a raffle ticket when entering any participating business. Those tickets will need to be dropped off at Three Heads Brewing to qualify for a raffle item. Raffle winners will be announced the following week after the event.
