Happy Thursday! We start the morning with clear skies and warm temperatures. The sundowner winds were strong enough to prevent the marine layer from forming in Santa Barbara but a few clouds may try to sneak in around 7am. Clouds in northern communities will clear rapidly and temperatures peak for most. Expect 80s, 90s and triple digits. Sundowner winds are likely once again tonight and may prevent early morning clouds and fog once again.
We hold with clearing skies and toasty temperatures Friday into the weekend. The last toasty day will be Monday as many Heat Alerts will be allowed to expire. A gradual cooling trend will appear Tuesday into the middle of next week, but will not provide much relief. More info to come.
