The awards keep coming for Intocable, as the beloved Música Mexicana act collects six RIAA Latin Diamond certifications, coming just days after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Texas-based outfit has now collected more RIAA Latin Diamond certifications than any other band, and boast the second-most behind only Bad Bunny, recipient of the Billboard Latin Music Award for top Latin Artist of the 21st Century.
“These certifications represent far more than sales and streams,” reads a statement from Intocable, whose members were on hand to receive their plaques. “They represent decades of loyalty from our fans, who have been with us through every chapter of this journey. We are deeply grateful to the RIAA for this incredible recognition and to every person who has made our music a part of their lives.”

Formed in Zapata in the early 1990s by Ricky Muñoz, René Martínez, Sergio Serna, Johnny Lee Rosas, Alex Gulmar and Felix Salinas, Intocable blends Tejano, Norteño, pop, rock and cumbia music. The group has sold an estimated 55 million albums, has 15 No. 1s on Billboard’sTop Regional Mexican Albums chart and 21 No. 1s on Regional Mexican Airplay. They are Grammy, Latin Grammy and Billboard Music Award winners.
Muñoz has had had cause for extra celebrations. He nabbed his first No. 1 as co-producer on Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay for his work on Grupo Frontera’s “Ojitos Bellos,” which led the chart dated July 18, 2026.
As previously reported, the Latin hitmakers were last week presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in the category of recording.
The star is set as Intocable continues its Cultura Tour 2026, which visits 24 cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Tejano legends recently partnered with Primary Wave Music in a deal covering the band’s catalog as well as its name, image and likeness rights.
