The EMA confirmed that high humidity levels will lead to an increase in perceived temperatures, with 40C in Greater Cairo, 42C in Upper Egypt, and 44C in southern Upper Egypt.
Weather maps warned of fog formation between four and eight am on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
The fog may occasionally be dense on some roads.
Satellites have also detected intermittent wind activity in several regions from Tuesday to Thursday, providing some relief from the heat during certain periods.
The EMA urged citizens to follow weather forecasts regularly, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and keep well-hydrated, especially given the continued high temperatures and humidity.
