A person was rushed to an area hospital in serious-to-critical condition after they were pulled from Lake Michigan Thursday afternoon.
According to the Chicago Fire Department, divers were called to the lakeshore near Superior and DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Thursday afternoon for reports of a person in the water.
Divers were able to locate a male in the water, and transported them to Navy Pier and then to an area hospital, authorities said.
According to Chicago fire officials, the individual was transported in red (serious-to-critical) condition, but no further updates were immediately available.
