ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 33-year-old man was shot more than once Tuesday afternoon in the lower body on Dewey Avenue.
Rochester Police officers responded to Dewey Avenue, near Magee Avenue, at about 3:47 p.m. for reports of shots fired and a person shot. Officers found the man, a city resident, suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body.
He was taken by ambulance to Strong Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
No suspects are in custody at this time. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 911.
