ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A driver was hurt Monday night after her vehicle rolled over on Ridgeway Avenue.
Officers responded to Ridgeway Avenue near Dewey Avenue around 8:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle rollover. The Rochester Fire Department quickly extricated the driver, who remained in the vehicle.
According to the Rochester Police Department, a 39-year-old city resident was headed west on Ridgeway Avenue and had just crossed through the intersection with Dewey. For reasons unknown at this time, she veered to the right off the roadway, hitting two legally parked vehicles along the north curb of Ridgeway. The impact caused her vehicle to roll over.
The driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with a general complaint of pain.
Her vehicle was the only one requiring a tow. No citations were issued.
