MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. — Former Monroe County District Attorney Donald Chesworth Jr. has died.

He wasn’t just a local attorney. Throughout his career, Chesworth served as an FBI special agent, superintendent of the New York State Police, and served on the Monroe County Chiefs of Police Association board. He also served on the Humane Society of Rochester, the New York State Trooper Foundation, Crime Stoppers, LifeSpan, and the Rochester Community Boating Foundation.
He died on June 23 at the age of 84.
