Free agent Chicago Bulls power forward/center Guerschon Yabusele is headed abroad as he continues his pro basketball career!
Sources inform Michael Scotto of HoopsHype that the jump-shooting big man has agreed to a three-season contract with Greek squad Panathinaikos.
Although exact terms of the new deal have yet to be divulged, Scotto suggests that the 30-year-old Yabusele “will be one of the top three highest-paid European players.”

He quickly fell out of new head coach Mike Brown’s rotation, and was flipped to the Bulls at the deadline for Dalen Terry. New York subsequently offloaded Terry to the New Orleans Pelicans for New York native Jose Alvarado, and the rest is history.
Yabusele waived the second season of his contract (worth $5.775 million) to complete the Bulls trade. Back on a tanking team again for the first time since Philadelphia, Yabusele quickly rehabilitated his value, soaking up major limits as Billy Donovan’s tiny starting center (he’s 6-foot-7). Yabusele has a solid face-up game and is a respectable floor-spacer, but he’s a slightly slow defender and plays away from the rim.
