Clianda Florence, co-founder and CEO of Let’s Get L.I.T., returned to the show to discuss the organization’s summer literacy program. Florence previously appeared on the program to raise awareness about poor literacy rates in the city. This year, Let’s Get L.I.T. is partnering with EDceptional and its CEO, Sebrone O. Johnson.
The episode features the 8th-annual Heroes and Hidden Heroes, a benefit concert for local veterans. Executive Director Lauren Coe will explain why the cause is personal to her.
Pastor Daryl Smith and Dr. Eric Townell discuss their musical collaboration.
