It was just an automatic thing to be playing, and we started writing."
Led Zepellin fans can find Middle Earth and Tolkien inspiration peppered throughout their work. Songs like "Ramble On," "Misty Mountain Hop," and "The Battle of Evermore" all play homage to the classic fantasy author.
American Songwriter noted that the band started performing “Over the Hills and Far Away” live in 1972, but it wouldn’t be released until March 1973.
