Virginia Tech has added another four athletes to its roster for this fall, all being transfers. Sinead Valero and Natalia Janiszewska arrive from NAIA Keiser, Aidan Paro arrives from Louisville, and Savannah Berry arrives from Denver.

Valero and Berry join the women’s diving team. Valero captured the 2026 NAIA Championship titles in both the 1 meter (287.90 points) and 3 meter (321.85 points) while with Keiser. Berry had a strong season of her own, winning the 2026 Summit League 1 meter and 3 meter titles with a 261.25 in the 1 meter and a 286.05 in the 3 meter.

Janiszewska was an NAIA swimming champion for Keiser, sweeping the backstroke titles with a 53.95 100 back and a 1:58.47 200 back in March. She also was 2nd in the 50 free with a 23.20 and helped Keiser’s relays to four wins.

Janiszewska’s best time of a 53.83 in the 100 back would have been 3rd on Virginia Tech’s roster this past season while her best time of a 1:58.47 in the 200 back would have been 5th. The team’s top backstroker Carmen Weiler Sastre graduated this spring.

The Virginia Tech women finished 9th out of 15 teams at the 2026 ACC Championships. They went on to finish 37th at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
