In addition to Oklahoma and Notre Dame, Tagliaferri holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio State and Ole Miss, to name a few.
Tagliaferri is the first commitment of the 2028 cycle for the Sooners, who boast a top 5 class in the 2027 rankings. Oklahoma has so far added 2 quarterbacks in the Class of 2027: 3-star Jamison Roberts (AL) and unrated prospect Noah Smith, who hails from Lawton, Oklahoma.
The Sooners begin their 2027 campaign on September 4 against UTEP. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but it was moved to Friday night earlier this week.
