ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’re looking for a driver who abandoned their car after crashing into another car on Portland Avenue on Friday night.
The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. between Norton and Jackson streets. Officers found two cars, a Dodge Charger and a Jeep Wrangler, at the scene after they arrived. However, the driver of the Dodge was gone, according to RPD.
An ambulance took a 33-year-old passenger in the abandoned Dodge to the hospital to treat minor injuries. The driver of the Jeep wasn’t injured.
Both cars needed to be towed away. RPD hasn’t issued any tickets and is still investigating.
