ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police surrounded a house overnight while investigating a stabbing on Clifford Avenue near Morton Place that injured a 33-year-old man.
Officers responded to the stabbing around 1 a.m. and learned that a private car had already taken the victim to Rochester General Hospital for treatment. Police say he had at least one stab wound to his upper torso and is expected to survive.
While investigating, officers surrounded a house nearby and diverted traffic on Clifford Avenue. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw dozens of offers swarming the street and putting up crime scene tape.
The area has since reopened. Police say they have no suspects in custody and are still investigating. Check back for updates.
