GTA 6 pre-orders will go live on 25 June 2026.
At the time of writing, Rockstar hasn't confirmed an exact time for when pre-orders will go live, though we have a few options.
First things first, pre-orders could simply go live at midnight, with the game going up for sale as soon as the clock ticks over to 25 June, though we do think this is unlikely.
Instead, we think that the game will probably go on sale in the afternoon.
When Red Dead Redemption 2 first opened for pre-orders in 2018 – yes, it really was that long ago – they went live at 4pm.
The actual announcement that pre-orders were set to go live took place at 2pm, while previous trailers for the game have gone live at 3pm.
As such, while we don't have a concrete start time as of yet, we think it's safe to assume that pre-orders will go live in the afternoon of 25 June.
How to pre-order GTA 6 in the UK explained
The easiest way to pre-order GTA 6 in the UK is directly from your platform's storefront.
Digital versions of the game will go live on both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store on 25 June, and can currently be wishlisted, which will notify you when pre-orders do go live.
If you want a physical copy, things are a bit less clear. Rockstar has confirmed that the game will be available for pre-order at certain select retailers, though it doesn't specify which retailers are included.
