As we head into the summer months, both Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars have been announcing which celebrities will be headed onto the dance floor.
In recent months, Dancing with the Stars has been drip feeding fans with announcements of which of their favourite celebrities could be gracing the ballroom later this year – and there are plenty of familiar names so far.
To add to the anticipation, ABC has announced a companion show – Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro – in which a group of dancers will compete for a chance to join the professionals line-up. Mark and Shirley Ballas join the series as judges.

Ciara Miller is a TV personality best known for being a cast member on Bravo reality series Summer House. Since then, she has appeared on The Traitors US and is a co-host on Love Island: Aftersun for the American series.
"It'll be nice to have my own schedule, have like a very solid schedule, be able to go where I need to go," she told People. "I'm looking forward to having that dance schedule, I feel like I used to have that when I was growing up."
In preparation, Ciara plans to do "more yoga classes, more Pilates classes", adding: "I might start running again because I need to get my stamina up and have some type of endurance. I'm gonna get in the gym."
Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins is a TV personality best known for her appearance Love Island in 2019, where she was a finalist. Though she has never returned to the villa in a contestant capacity, she was host of the US version of Love Island: Aftersun.
She has continued to make a name for herself in the US, having appeared on the latest series of The Traitors US.
Speaking of joining Dancing with the Stars, Maura said: "I'm just so, so happy. I can't wait to get really fit and wear all the sexy costumes. I just want to start now."
Jackson Olson
Age: 28

Jackson Olson is an American baseball player best known as a second baseman for the Savannah Bananas.
Appearing on Good Morning America to announce his taking part, Jackson said: "When I was a kid, I never thought any of this was possible. I was a shy kid that never danced, never put myself out there, never entertained, and found a passion for it."
Guillermo Rodriguez
Age: 55

Guillermo Rodriguez is a comedian best known as sidekick to Jimmy Kimmell on his late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
