Caden Glauber slammed the door with five innings of scoreless relief, coming in after starter Ryan Lynch exited with an apparent injury. Carolina is now 29-0 in games in which Glauber has pitched this season.
Sunday’s win also guarantees UNC will not have lost consecutive games this season since March 6-7 against Virginia.
Game 3 of the national championship series is scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
