After swimming a 22.48 in prelims to find himself in a 3-way tie for 15th with Grant House and Maximus Williamson, Caeleb Dressel swam in a swim-off for a place in the B-final at the Pro Swim in Indianapolis. Dressel won the swim-off, cutting more than half a second off of his initial swim to touch at 21.84. This is the fastest time the Olympic champion has clocked in the event since the 2024 Paris Olympics. Dressel ended the day with a 21.85, winning the B-Final out of lane 1.
