ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police say a Rochester man has life-threatening injuries after being shot in the area of West Main and King streets on Friday evening.
Police say they responded to the intersection of West Main and King streets around 6:30 p.m. after getting the report of someone shot.
When officers got to the scene, they found a 43-year-old Rochester man on Kind Street, who was shot at least once in the upper body, police reported.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for life-threatening injuries, police say, and King Street will remain closed for the investigation.
