Sara Haines is late to the Summer House drama, but she is already very invested.
On the June 17 episode of The View'sBehind the Table podcast, Haines told executive producer Brian Teta that she recently started watching the Bravo series after several people on staff got her into it.
She said that she devoted so much time to the show that she ended up messaging Summer House star Kyle Cooke directly.
Teta teased Haines about being "late to the game" with her new TV obsession.
Haines said she started watching because people she loves were already invested in the show.
"When someone you love cares about something, it becomes contagious eventually," Haines said.
She said the staff got her watching the Summer House reunion, and she quickly became "so deeply invested" that she went back to watch Season 10.
"I've got a lot of feelings," she said in the interview.
She Reached Out to Kyle Cooke

Haines said those feelings eventually led her to Cooke's DMs.
"So I dropped into Kyle Cooke's DMs yesterday," she said.
Teta was surprised.
"Oh, my god. You cold DMing," he said.
Haines said she was "pretty sure" Cooke had not read the message and joked that it was probably buried somewhere.
Still, she said she felt like she needed to say something.
"I needed to go on record," she said. "I really needed to speak up."
Haines said her "heart goes out" to Cooke after watching the season.
"My heart goes out to Kyle Cooke, and watching him has been very painful," she said.
Haines made it clear that she has only watched Season 10, so she is not bringing years of Summer House history into her opinion.
"A lot of people seem to hate him, but I think I have fresher eyes because I'm not carrying a narrative," she said.
She said she knows some longtime viewers feel differently about Cooke because of past seasons, but she still felt strongly about what she saw.
"Nothing merited the treatment he has gotten," Haines said.
She also said she had a "visceral reaction" watching parts of the season.
She Shared Part of the Message
Haines said her message to Cooke was long.
"The good thing is this is the one time I write a book to a guy that doesn't respond that I'm not trying to date," she joked.
She then read part of what she said she sent him.
"I just have to share how hard it's been for me to watch the season of Summer House," Haines said. "I'm a new convert to the series. So other than the reunion, I've only watched this season."
She said she told Cooke that she knew viewers were focused on the West Wilson and Amanda Batula drama, but that she was more affected by what she saw between Cooke and Batula.
"I cannot endure how she has treated you," Haines said she wrote.
She added that she told Cooke he "deserves so much more."
During the conversation, Haines referred to the situation as an "affair," but Teta clarified that Batula did not have an affair.
"They have been separated since January," Teta said.
Haines explained that she was using the word because Batula became involved with someone close to the friend group.
Bravo fans have been following the fallout from Batula's relationship with Wilson, who previously dated Ciara Miller. Cooke and Batula announced their separation in January after four years of marriage.

Haines May Not Be Done Watching
Haines said she plans to go back and watch more of Summer House to better understand the history.
"I'm going to go back and watch all those seasons," she said.
Teta joked that she may need to start a rewatch series.
Haines did not seem convinced anyone would care, but she clearly had a lot to say.
And if Cooke ever finds her message, he will know exactly where she stands.
