EastEnders airs wicked AI plot from Bea Pollard against Billy Mitchell

Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) has launched her latest plot to drive a wedge between Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) in EastEnders.

Earlier this year, the tragic villain struck up a friendship with Honey at Linda Carter's (Kellie Bright) school reunion, and later invited her to house sit while her family were on holiday in Cornwall.

During their absence, she began to worry about money and applied for a credit card in Honey's name. Bea was initially reluctant to spend any of the cash, though was swayed when she heard how much her new mate was struggling with the menopause.

After booking Honey into a flashy clinic on Harley Street, she hoped that the gesture would allow the family to install her as their permanent lodger. Honey had no idea where the sudden cashflow had come from.

Soon after, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) exposed Bea's wicked ways, and when Billy kicked her out, she decided to tamper with his ladder in revenge.

Little did she realise, Honey would ascend the steps, and suffer a grisly fall.

In the aftermath, a guilt-ridden Bea has wormed her way back into Honey's good books, making meals for her family and cleaning the house while she was hospitalised. She then announced that she was moving in with Mo Harris (Laila Morse), and therefore could start recouping her finances to pay back her fraudulent gains.

Bea was intrigued to hear that a date night between Billy and Honey hadn't gone as planned, and jumped at the opportunity of manipulating the situation further in yesterday's episode.

She persuaded Honey to join her for a drink, dripping poison about Billy into her ear - and then decided to take things one step further.

As viewers will recall, back in April, Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) had crafted some software that would allow Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) to reconnect with his son Anthony, and speak with him from beyond the grave.

Bea's interest was piqued, and headed home to find a similar programme that could manipulate Billy's voice.

Speaking into her phone, she asked the fake version to repeat a ridiculous sentence: "I am Billy Mitchell, and I am a prize sausage."

Now, however, she's used the artificial intelligence for something way more sinister. Loading up a fake dating profile, she used the tech to create a voice message that made it seem like he was being unfaithful.

Will Honey fall for the dupe?
