The Fairport Angels Blood Drive took place on Thursday, remembering Hannah Congdon, Bailey Goodman, Meredith McClure, Sara Monnat and Katie Shirley. The five Fairport High School graduates died in a car crash in 2007 just five days after graduating.
“The Red Cross tells us 3300 people prior to this drive today have been given blood through his drive, and that just amazes me, I guess I never stopped to think about the number, I knew when I donated,” said Meredith McClure, mother of Meredith McClure.
