ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Syracuse-based Erie Materials will demolish the condemned hotel at 911 Brooks Ave in Gates and build a new warehouse and showroom after receiving county tax incentives.
The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency approved $1.7 million in tax incentives for the project. Erie Materials plans to replace the former Ramada Plaza with a 62,000-square-foot supply facility, including a warehouse and showroom.
The company expects to hire 35 employees within three years.
