There have been very few times where the Costco bakery section has let me down, and the latest find has shoppers—including myself—running to the store.

While donuts and croissants are both great on their own, something magical happens when two baked good staples are brought together.

    And before the fall kicks in and we're on an apple cider donut kick, the summer is all about Costco's Mini Croissant Donuts.

    The summer bakery item has been spotted at select warehouses nationwide, with a pack including 20 mini donuts split between two flavors: glazed and cinnamon sugar.

    The bite-sized treats feature a light, flaky croissant-style texture. The cinnamon sugar version is coated in a warm spice blend, while the glazed option has a smooth, sweet finish.

    And Costco's version is giving Krispy Kreme a run for its money, with prices ranging from $9.99 – $10.89 at various locations.

    Their petite sizes make them more approachable than a standard doughnut or croissant, as they are perfect to snack on, whether at home with your coffee or gathering with loved ones.

    A total of 144 warehouses are currently carrying them, and they've been spotted across the East Coast and Midwest. If they aren't available at your location yet, they likely will be soon.

    Sort of! You'd have to try it on your own, but The Grocery Lady reviewed it as part of her June 2026 product taste-test, revealing that she gave it a 3.5 out of 5, as it "wasn't terrible," but it also wasn't her favorite.

    While she was impressed with the doughnut smell wafting out of the package, the layers, and the fact that it wasn't overly fried, she felt it could "use a little something."

    “I think it tastes like a glazed donut, and there’s not as much flavor on the inside. The outside is lovely," she noted of the glazed variety, adding that the cinnamon sugar one tasted briefly like wild flowers.
