Khanh Seaton, a rising senior at Castro Valley High School in Castro Valley, California, has announced her verbal commitment to the University of California, Berkeley, beginning in the 2027-28 school year. Seaton had originally pledged to swim and study at the University of Michigan.
Seaton made the announcement on social media, writing:
“Staying closer to home! fter a lot of time and thought, I’m extremely grateful to announce my commitment to swim and study at the University of California, Berkeley! I’m so thankful for my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for supporting me throughout this journey. I would also like to thank the coaches at UC Berkeley for this opportunity. So excited for this next chapter!! Go Bears ”
Seaton is coming off a big junior year high school season. At the North Coast Section Championships, she won the 50 free and 100 free with PBs of 22.02 and 48.58, respectively.
