ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a man recently acquitted of a 2024 murder is charged with carrying out a shooting on Lyell Avenue last week.
Timothy Patterson, 37, is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He’s accused of shooting a man in his 40s on the morning of Tuesday, June 9, between Broad Street and Dewey Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body.
