ITV have brought UK viewers some magic moments from World Cup 2026 already.
Cape Verde's odds-defying draw with Spain, Qatar's late equaliser against Switzerland, Japan 2-2 Netherlands, and, of course, the red-card-heavy opener between Mexico and South Africa have all appeared on our screens via the broadcaster's impressive Brooklyn studio.
There is plenty more to come, starting Wednesday when England begin their World Cup quest against Croatia.
ITV and BBC's coverage means every match from the tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States – and there are 104 of them after the expansion to 48 teams – will be live on free-to-air TV.

How to watch the World Cup 2026 on ITV
ITV is set to show 51 matches throughout this summer's tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
The majority of games will be broadcast live on ITV1, though other channels will be used for the final round of group stage matches when games kick off simultaneously.
Viewers can also tune in to watch on ITVX on a range of platforms, including laptops, mobiles, and tablets.
All 104 games at World Cup 2026 will be broadcast free-to-air, with BBC and ITV splitting the coverage for UK fans – though both will show the final.
