For all you freaks who dreamed of being in the survey corps, your time is approaching, as we look forward to the upcoming Attack on Titan 3.

This new AoT game will take you through the whole story of this iconic manga, giving you a set of ODM gear and letting you loose on the titans of Paradis.

If that sounds like your ideal game, then here's everything you need to know about the Attack on Titan 3 release date, and what to expect from the game.

When is the Attack on Titan 3 release date?

At the time of writing, there is no confirmed release date for Attack on Titan 3.

The game was officially announced as part of the June 2026 Summer Game Fest Showcase.

At the end of this reveal trailer, it was confirmed that the "Next Scouting Report" would be arriving on 1 July, promising an update on the game.

This was misinterpreted by many as a release date. Hopefully that scouting report will give us a bit more of an idea on when we can expect the game.

Considering much of the trailer showcased in-game footage, we can assume that the game is fairly far into development. As such, we predict a 2027 release, though this is purely speculative.

Attack on Titan 3 will launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.

These platforms are all listed on the game's official page on the Koei Tecmo website.

Unfortunately, this does mean the game will not be coming to last-gen consoles.

Can I pre-order Attack on Titan 3?

Attack on Titan 3 is not currently available for pre-order.

Attack on Titan 3 will be the first game based on the series to tell the full manga story from beginning to end.

It appears that players will control their own player character, inserted into the events of Attack on Titan as a member of the Survey Corps.

They will team up with the likes of Eren, Mikasa, Levi and more as they take on the titans inside the Walls and beyond.

It's also confirmed that this will be the first time that all of the Nine Titans will be featured in an AoT game.

In terms of the raw gameplay, the developers have claimed that the omni-directional mobility gameplay has been "evolved to the next level, offering the most exhilarating and stylish high-speed combat in the history of the Attack on Titan game series". Exciting stuff.
