ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 45-year-old man has pleaded guilty in connection to a woman shot multiple times on Willow Street last year.
Robert Johnson pleaded guilty to attempted murder. Prosecutors say Johnson, the victim’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, broke into her home and shot the woman multiple times with intent to kill her.
It happened on May 25, 2025. Rochester Police say Johnson turned himself in a few days after the shooting.
Johnson’s sentencing is set for August 14. He’s expected to be sentenced to between 17-19 years in prison, plus five years of post-release supervision.
