It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band!
This month, Aaron welcomes six members of the House Band: Liam Chaires, Lachlan McElwee, Kate Stokes, Grant Watson, Gianna Whitley, and Jack Wilson. They’re all looking ahead to the band’s summer tour, which will take them to Dollywood, Nashville, and New Orleans, among other spots. (Some water balloon fights may also be in the works, but plans are still being arranged.)
School of Rock music director and house band director Danlee Gildersleeve is also on hand to share details about upcoming events – not just that summer tour, but also several shows in our area, like a June 27 show in Pittsboro that will also feature five house bands from Florida, plus the School of Rock Chapel Hill midseason show June 28 at Cat’s Cradle Back Room.
Listen to their conversation, plus the band’s performances of Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison,” Half Alive’s “Still Feel,” and Pearl Jam’s “Black.”
